Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy had some surprising praise for a Capital Region pizza joint in his latest “One Bite” review.
Portnoy, 49, found himself at Cusato’s Pizzeria in Ballston Spa, about 15 miles south of his home in Saratoga Springs. He cut the pizza review video despite the rain and shared it Thursday, July 30 on YouTube.
“Looks pretty good,” Portnoy says before taking a bite. “Good undercarriage…very good,” he says after taking his first bite. Then after a pause, “Eh, pretty good.”

PTA Money Gone Missing: LI Woman Admits $14K Theft From School Group, Authorities Say
A Long Island PTA leader admitted to stealing more than $14,000 from the organization, authorities said Tuesday, Aug. 4.
Hope Livingston, 50, of Sag Harbor, copped to swiping $14,487 from the Sag Harbor Elementary School PTA, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said. She is expected to receive a sentence of five years on probation at her next court appearance on Oct. 6.
Livingston worked as co-treasurer and then vice president of the organization from July 2021 through June 2024, giving her access to a PTA bank account and debit card, investigators said.
