Actress Anne Schedeen Dies: Best Known As Mom On Popular NBC Sitcom 'ALF'
A familiar face from one of TV’s quirkiest sitcom families has died.
Anne Schedeen, best known for playing Kate Tanner on the NBC sitcom "ALF," died at age 77, her family announced Sunday, June 14, in a post on her Facebook page.
A cause of death was not publicly disclosed.
"We are bereft without her," her family wrote, also calling Schedeen "a force."
The family remembered her creative energy, humor, artwork, handmade jewelry, oil paintings, sculptures, costumes, and love of stories.
They also asked those mourning her to "Raise a margarita in her honor."
