Motorcyclist Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-78 (Updated) The Lehigh County Coroner's Office was called to the scene of a multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 78 on Wednesday, June 26.  Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said a 30-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene around 1:30 p.m. His was not reported as of Wednesday afternoon.  According to 511PA.com, the crash occurred in the eastbound lanes between Exit 55 and Exit 59. All lanes between the exits were closed as of 1 p.m.  Pennsylvania State Police and the Lehigh county District Attorney's Office are investigating.

Scarlato died from his injuries after an accident in McAdoo Borough, according to officials.  Scarlato, 55, suffered cervical spine fractures after an "at-home swimming incident," said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. Pizzeria Owner Who Killed Partner In Bucks Home Learns Her Sentence: DA Maria Tolomello will spend up to 40 years in a Pennsylvania prison for the murder of Giovanni Gallina, prosecutors said in a release. Tolomello, who owned Pina's Pizza in Chalfont together with Gallina, previously pleaded guilty to shooting the 64-year-old in the head.  She was arrested in March 2022 after police found Gallina's body wrapped in a blue tarp in a bedroom of their shared Hilltown home.
