Allentown Man Robbed Three Shops In One Week, Police Say A 32-year-old accused of three robberies was arrested by a county Emergency Response Team last week, Allentown police say. 59-Year-Old Driver Killed In Northeast Philadelphia Crash: Officials One man has died after crashing his car into a wall early Monday morning, June 17, according to Philadelphia police. Authorities said the 59-year-old's 2007 Chevrolet lost control on the 1100 block of Welsh Road. His car struck a wall then continued westbound on the sidewalk before coming to a rest in the roadway, police said. He was taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead around 2:40 a.m. Authorities did not release his name. An investigation is ongoing, they added.

Burglar Posed As Building Inspector To Get Inside South Philly Home: Investigators Two men stole jewelry from a South Philadelphia home last week after one of them claimed he needed to inspect the back deck, city police said. Authorities said it happened last Wednesday afternoon, June 12, on the 2900 block of South Juniper Street. One suspect knocked on the door and claimed to be from a construction company visiting at the request of the building inspector. Berks County Bull Attack Sends Man To Hospital: Troopers State police said a man at a Berks County farm was attacked by a bull on Sunday, June 16. The man was performing work on a Strausser Road farm in Windsor Township when the bull "aggressively attacked" him, authorities wrote in a release. The man was injured and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, while the bull was "dispatched" by the owner, according to troopers.

Crash Shuts Down Lincoln Highway In Chester County: Police Authorities are responding to an accident on Route 30 in West Whiteland on Monday morning, June 17. Death Investigation Underway In Bucks County Authorities are investigating a death in a Northampton Township home. Police said they were called for a welfare check around 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16 and found a person dead inside a residence. Their identity is being withheld pending notification of family members, officials said. In addition to Northampton police, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office is investigating. "There is no danger to the community," police added.

Bucks County Man Convicted Of Raping Children: DA A Bucks County jury convicted a Warminster man of multiple felony counts including rape of a child on Thursday, June 13, the District Attorney's Office says. Umair Mir, 39, was previously accused of sexually abusing two sisters over a period of five years, prosecutors said. Vandals Intentionally Disabled Windmills In Schuylkill County: State Police Authorities are looking for the vandals who fired a gun into commercial windmills in Union Township. State police said it's happened multiple times since March. The vandals pry open the ventilation gates on the door of the windmills' electrical compartments, then fire a gun at the components inside, causing significant damage and shutting down the turbines, troopers said.
