Baby, Toddler Stabbed In Brutal Abingdon Attack; Manhunt Underway: Sheriff
An infant and a toddler were among five people injured during a brutal stabbing spree inside a Maryland home, and the suspect is still on the run, authorities said.
Harford County Sheriff's deputies were called around 7:15 a.m. Sunday, April 27, to a home on Deerhill Circle in Abingdon for a domestic incident, according to the Sheriff's Office.
When deputies arrived, they found two victims outside the residence and three more inside — including an 8-month-old baby and a 2-year-old child.
The other victims were identified as Zeenat Jahan, 19, Rehana Rashid, 66, and Sana Zahid, 36.

CT Drunk Driver Was Going Over Twice Speed Limit When He Hit, Killed Man In Lisbon: Police
A 36-year-old Ledyard man accused of driving drunk and fatally striking a pedestrian now faces new charges following a months-long investigation, police announced.
William Stonier, of Ledyard, is charged with failure to maintain a lane, reckless driving, and second-degree manslaughter, Connecticut State Police said. He was previously charged with driving under the influence and illegal firearm possession while intoxicated.
Police said Stonier hit Richard Dupont, of Jewett City, on River Road near the intersection of Lee Road in Lisbon on Oct. 14, 2024.
Dupont died at the scene.

A 24-year-old Brick Township man was arrested and charged while shoplifting at Target after being inappropriate with a child at Walmart, authorities announced on Monday, April 21.
On Wednesday, April 9, an 8-year-old girl was standing in the aisle at Walmart on 1872 Route 88 when a man, later identified as Sean Slowinski, approached her, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said. While standing near her, Slowinski grabbed the girl's hand and put it in his sweatshirt pocket, engaging with her verbally before walking away, Billhimer said.
