An area man who allegedly left his cell phone and personal papers at the scene of a gas station robbery has been charged with the crime. He was arrested on Friday, March 18, in Ulster County after robbing a Sunoco gas station in the Saugerties. Officers responded to the stations around 2:30 a.m. after receiving a burglary alarm notification, said Chief Joseph Sinagra, of the Saugerties Police. A man in Allentown was shot early Friday morning, authorities said. A 19-year-old man from Philadelphia was arrested while fleeing an armed robbery at a Sunoco station in South Jersey, authorities said. Lamar Morrison was captured by Egg Harbor Township police at the Fire Road Apartments, police said. Morrison allegedly held up the gas station on Fire Road in the Farmington section of town at 5:35 p.m, Tuesday, police said. Authorities Ask For Info After Man Accused Of Robbing Suffolk County Gas Station
Authorities are asking the public for help locating a man accused of robbing a gas station on Long Island. A man entered Sunoco in North Amityville at about 11:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, and threatened a clerk with a beer bottle that he had broken, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers.
