Thief Hits Sayville Target For $4,600 In Tech Gear, Including Tablet And VR Headset: Police
A man stole $4,600 worth of merchandise from a Target on Long Island, and while he was caught on camera at the store, police are seeking the public’s help to identify him.
The man took an Apple iPad, a Nintendo Switch, and Meta Quest VR headsets from the store in Sayville on Saturday, June 27, the Suffolk County Police Department said.
Around 10:30 a.m., the man walked out of the store at 5750 Sunrise Highway without paying, police said. Cops asked for the public’s help on Friday, July 31, about one month after the robbery.

Two more suspects have been arrested in a burglary spree across Nassau County, police announced Tuesday, July 28.
Joel Valladares Gutierrez, 18, and Peng Zhou, 33, both of Queens, joined four other suspects in the case, the Nassau County Police Department said.
Valladares Gutierrez and Zhou were part of a crew that hit “various residents in Jericho and Manhasset,” police said. While inside, they “removed jewelry, designer handbags, assorted credit cards,” and cash, according to investigators.

Eric Bieniemy's wife, Mia Bieniemy, 57, was reportedly shot by their son Elijah Zion Bieniemy, 27, on Sunday, July 26, in the 20000 block of Northpark Drive, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and ESPN. Eric Bieniemy is the Kansas City Chiefs' offensive coordinator.

On Thursday, March 19, Anthony White, a 35-year-old Trenton resident, was reported missing, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta Marbrey and Trenton Police Director Steve Wilson said.
