Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect Nabbed After Fleeing From Stop On Southern State Parkway In Wantagh: Police A suspect was apprehended after allegedly fleeing from a stop on the Southern State Parkway. The incident began at around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 when New York State Police say a tan Toyota Sienna was observed with an improper license plate on the eastbound side near Exit 2 in Wantagh. Ronkonkoma Man Accused Of Burglarizing 11 Suffolk County Businesses A local man has been accused of burglarizing nearly a dozen Long Island businesses this month. The suspect broke into Deli Pupuseria Salvadoreña, located at 16 Dawn Drive in Centereach, stole at around 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, stole a cash register and fled, according to Suffolk County Police. Ronkonkoma Woman Seriously Injured In Crash At Busy Oakdale Intersection A woman suffered severe injuries in a crash at a busy Long Island intersection. It happened around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Oakdale.
