Holden Youth Soccer Offers Orciuch Scholarship

HOLDEN, Mass. - Holden Youth Soccer will be offering the Jeffrey Orciuch Scholarship to graduating seniors planning to attend accredited colleges in the Fall.

Every year the Jeffrey Orciuch Scholarship is awarded to college-bound youth in the community that have participated in Holden Youth Soccer, and applicants will have until May 25 to submit their application.

To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a resident of one of the towns in the Wachusett Regional School District (Holden, Rutland, Paxton, Sterling or Princeton)
  • Must be or have been a contributing participant of the HYS program as a volunteer, coach, referee, and /or player
  • Must be a graduating senior from an accredited high school and be accepted at an accredited college.
Preference will be given, but not limited to students who have demonstrated: academic success by earning a minimum GPA of 2.5, athletic acheivement, and community involvement through volunteer contributions to youth and/or the elderly, or community programs.
