HOLDEN, Mass. — Holden baseball is again hosting Summer Sandlot games for 7- and 8-year-olds on Tuesday nights and 9- and 10-year-olds on Thursday nights.
The 7- and 8-year-old players who will be eligible to play AAA next year are invited to come to the CRA fields on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Holden baseball volunteers will offer basic instruction and play scrimmages under Holden Baseball AAA rules. Tuesday Sandlot began July 10.
The 9- and 10-year-old players who will be eligible to play Junior Little League next year are invited to come to the CRA fields on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Holden baseball volunteers will offer instruction under current Holden Baseball JLL rules. Thursday Sandlot began July 12.
Players attending either Tuesday or Thursday Sandlot sessions should be properly equipped and bring bug spray and water. Parent/coach volunteers are encouraged to help coach and umpire games.
