HOLDEN, Mass. — As part of Ford Motor Company’s "Drive4UrSchool" program, Sunnyside Ford in Holden is partnering with the Wachusett Regional High School Booster Club this weekend to help raise funds to support local students.
This will be the second time Sunnyside Ford has held the test-drive event, which gives residents the opportunity to get behind the WRHS Booster Club as well as behind the wheel of a brand new Ford.
According to Sunnyside Ford's Susan Dinoia, this year the goal is to raise up to $6,000 in support of the Booster Club.
Through yearly events, the Booster Club supports extra-curricular activities, clubs, societies and sports offered at Wachusett Regional High School.
For every person who test-drives a new Ford vehicle during the one-day event, Ford Motor Company and Sunnyside Ford will donate $20 to Wachusett Regional High School Booster Club.
The fundraiser will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Wachusett Regional High School. Each test drive will last approximately seven to 10 minutes.
Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license, and there is a limit of one test drive per household.
In addition to the Drive4UrSchool event, the Booster Club will also hold its annual Holiday Craft Fair at 8 a.m. on Saturday in the high school cafeteria.
