HOLDEN, Mass. — The Wachusett Regional School District has made the call to cancel school on Tuesday after Hurricane Sandy knocked out power across Holden and other member towns.

All of Holden went black after both National Grid transmission lines failed, and officials expect power to not be restored until Tuesday morning.
