Register For The Nov. Election At Holden Town Hall

HOLDEN, Mass. — Election Day is scheduled for Nov. 6 and Holden's Town Clerk is reminding residents the last day to register to vote is Oct. 17.

New residents may register to vote during the regular Town Hall hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and 8 a.m. to noon Fridays. On Oct. 17, the clerk’s office will remain open until 8 p.m.

New residents also may register to vote by mail, with forms available at U.S. Post Offices, the Gale Free Library and the State Election Web Page

Additionally, residents may call the clerk’s office and request a form be mailed to them.  

The form should be completed in full and returned to the clerk’s office by the Oct. 17 deadline. 

The completed voter registration form either can be mailed or hand delivered to the clerk’s office. A new voter registering by mail or through the Registry of Motor Vehicles will receive a written acknowledgment from the clerk’s office within 10 days of its receipt.
