WORCESTER, Mass. - Marsha J. (Germain) Painchaud, 58, of Worcester died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital.
She leaves her husband of 38 years, John P. Painchaud, a daughter, Melissa A. Brooks and her husband, Michael of Sanford, Me., a son, John P. Painchaud, Jr., and his wife, Michelle of Biddeford, Me., six grandchildren, Ashley, Daniel, Mikey, Samantha, Bethany and Tianna, three brothers, Mark Germain of Worcester; Brian Germain of Dudley and Brad Germain of Worcester; two sisters, twins Karen Savageau of Holden and Kathy Gleason in Vermont and several nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Rudolph and Marie (Roy – King) Germain and lived in Webster before returning to Worcester and has resided here for most of her life.
Mrs. Painchaud was a homemaker and devoted her life to caring for her family.
The funeral will be held on Friday, November 2, from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 9 a.m.. in St. Paul's Cathedral, 15 Chatham Street. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday, Nov.1, from 6 to 8 p.m.
