Obituary: Joan L. (Whitman) DeMarco, 77

WORCESTER, Mass. - Joan L. (Whitman) DeMarco, 77, of 194 St. Nicholas Ave., died Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Autumn Village Skilled and Rehab in Worcester.

She leaves two sons; John J. DeMarco and his wife Lisa of Holden, Anthony F. DeMarco, Jr. of Worcester, two daughters; Darlene M. Frigon and her husband Wayne of Worcester, Debra A. DeMarco of Pepperell, a brother, Ronald Whitman and a sister, Carol Gerardi both of Worcester, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her former husband, Anthony F. DeMarco, Sr.

 Ms. DeMarco was born in Worcester the daughter of Donald and Maryjane (Duranleau) Whitman.

 She was a computer assembler for 15 years at Banyan Systems in Westboro, retiring in 2001. She was an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

 At the request of the family there are no funeral services. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

Donations may be made in Joan’s name to either the Autumn Village, 25 Oriol Dr., Worcester, MA. 01605 or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA. 01701.

 The Morin-Morrison Funeral Home, 1131 Main St. Leicester is assisting the family with arrangements.
