WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester Regional Transit Authority has launched a new mobile-ready website, BusTracker, to help riders access bus schedules in real time.

"The new mobile ready website is integrated with the intuitive BusTracker, Bustime Real-Time Information System, so that our riders can know exactly where their bus is, in real-time," WRTA Administrator Stephen O'Neil said.

BusTracker, which runs off the Clever Devices Bustime system, uses schedule data and real-time positioning of buses via GPS.

This system, available on the mobile ready website and WRTA website, allows riders to see exactly where a bus is in real-time so they can determine exactly when the bus will arrive at their stop.

"The mobile ready website was designed completely with our riders in mind," O'Neil said. "It's been customized for ease of use, is technology friendly and offers the same options as our website."
