Best Of Friends Harvest Fair: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Professional and senior crafters will be displaying their goods. Homemade soups, lunch and dessert will be available for purchase. Admission: A donation for the Wachusett Food Pantry. Holden Senior Center, 1130 Main St.

Holden DPW Fall Composting: 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Leaves and grass clippings will be accepted at the Department of Public Works composting facility, at the site of the former landfill at 560 River St. Brush chipping will be done at the Adams Road garage only, due to the Asian Longhorned Beetle regulated area.

Hooked Rug & Fiber Arts Show: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Presented by Wachusett Mountain Chapter of ATHA. There will be vendors and demonstrations of rug hooking, proddy, punchneedle, penny rugs, knitting, weaving and more. Mountview Middle School, 270 Shrewsbury St., Holden.
