HOLDEN, Mass. — The Holden Area Chamber of Commerce and the Holden Grange are co-sponsoring a forum for candidates running for open seats on the Holden Select Board and the Wachusett Regional School District Committee.
Questions will be taken from the audience for the candidates running for the Select Board. Questions also may be submitted beforehand to the Holden Area Chamber of Commerce by email: info@holdenareachamber.org. Only questions identified with a name and address will be accepted.
Joe Sullivan, retired selectman and president of PMA, Inc., will serve as moderator. Holden Community Television (HCTV-11) will broadcast the forum live and will re-run the program several times prior to the election.
The four candidates running for the two available seats on the Board of Selectmen are incumbents Anthony M. Renzoni and Kenneth O’Brien, along with Jeremy W. Kurtz and Mark S. Ferguson.
Holden’s Wachusett Regional School District Committee candidates are incumbent Steven J. Hammond, Deidre Kosky, Erik Scheinfeldt and Richard J. McWaters.
The event will take place on Thursday, April 26 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Holden Town Hall.
