HOLDEN, Mass. - State Rep. Kimberly Ferguson (R-Holden) has been appointed to serve on the Advisory Board of the Devereux School - a private, not-for-profit organization established in 1965 which specializes in treating and educating young adults, children, and adolescents with special emotional and behavioral needs.
“I am honored and humbled that Devereux requested I join their advisory board,” Ferguson said. “Devereux Massachusetts provides a unique and wonderful service to the community and I am excited to join their mission of treating, educating, and changing the lives of the young people that walk through their doors.”
As a board member Ferguson will help to support the school’s mission and program. Stephen Yerdon, Executive Director at Devereux Massachusetts is also excited about the addition of Ferguson. “We are all very pleased that Representative Ferguson has agreed to join the board,” Yerdon said.
“Her experience with students with special needs and her level of compassion all make her a great fit.”
