HOLDEN, Mass. — Members of the Wachusett Area Rotary Club volunteered at the Wachusett Food Pantry in Holden last week, bringing along a delivery of coats to help local families to stay warm in the cold winter months ahead.
Each year the club holds its winter coat drive, Coats For Kids. Residents in need sign up at the food bank at the end of summer to receive coats at a distribution in October.
Both locally and globally, the Rotary is actively engaged in charitable causes and projects ranging from providing scholarships for area high school seniors to supporting organizations such as the Wachusett Food Pantry and NEADS.
