HOLDEN, Mass. — Wachusett Regional High School will be hosting a benefit Lacrosse game on Thursday for Project New Hope, a Leicester-based non-profit that has helped veterans cope with combat exposure by providing free retreats for them along with their families
Project New Hope's retreats provide all veterans and their families with education, training and skills in a relaxed rural setting that elevates their ability to manage their lives after wartime service.
The JV game will be played at 5:30 p.m. followed by the varsity game at 7 p.m. Game staff will be in place collecting $2 dollars at the gate from all in attendance who are wearing camouflage, $3 from all of those who are not.
Project New Hope staff and volunteers will be on hand to answers questions. A 50/50 raffle which will be drawn at half time of the varsity game.
