HOLDEN, Mass. — Before the parade, residents can start their Memorial Day off with a hearty Pancake Breakfast hosted by Boy Scout Troop 182 at Holden Baptist Church.

The annual event will be held in the basement of the Church, located on the parade route on the corner of Maple and Main St, in the center of Holden.

The doors will be opened at 7 a.m. on Monday Memorial Day, and close before the parade starts at 11 a.m. The scouts will serve pancakes, fruit and locally produced sausage and bacon.

In addition, a silent auction will feature goods and services from local regional businesses. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $7 per adult with special rates for
seniors and children under 8 years of age.

Proceeds will go toward funding the Troops High Adventure program that will send older scouts to Washington DC in August. A slide show of past Adventures will be enjoyed by our diners.
