Chaffin Congregational Church Cookie Sale: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. At the 19th annual event, the church will be selling 12 varieties of homemade cookies made by members of the church. 155 Shrewsbury St.

Wachusett Food Pantry General Distribution: 9 to 11 a.m. Wachusett Extended Care Facility, 56 Boyden Road.

Holden Explorers Post 2012 Bottle And Can Drive: 9 a.m to noon. Holden Fire Station.

Sunday, Dec. 16

Holden Road Race Fundraising Award: 10:30 a.m. The Holden Road Race community is invited to attend the Sunday morning service at Fellowship Church, starting at 10:30 a.m. During the service, proceeds from this year's Thanksgiving race will be awarded to the Wachusett Food Pantry and St. Joseph's Project. 325 Bullard Street.
