Prescription Drug Take Back Day: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Turn in your unused prescription drugs for safe disposal, no questions asked. Holden Public Safety Building, 1370 Main St.
Bicycle Recycle Day: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All are welcome to Bicycle Recycle Day at the parking lot of St. Mary's Church, 114 Princeton St. Drop off any bike regardless of age. Collecting mountain, road, bmx, adult and kids to be reused. Many will be going to Ghana where they are very much needed. Pack 46 Trails End Popcorn Sale: Holden Cub Scouts will be out at Rocky's Ace Hardware, 160 Reservoir Street, selling delicious popcorn, caramel corn and kettle corn. Popcorn can also be purchased as a donation for military men and women, their families and veterans organizations. Over 70 percent of proceeds stay with local scouting to help Pack 46 attend summer camps and activities.
Swedish Dinner: 6 p.m. Guests are invited to bring a donation of canned food or other non-perishable items for the Wachusett Food Pantry. $10.00 (free under 12) Chaffin Congregational Church, 155 Shrewsbury St., Holden, Mass. Wachusett Greenways Springdale Mill Celebration: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Whether starting from the Mass Central Rail Trail entrance at Thomas Street in West Boylston or River Street in Holden, families are invited to get on a bike, walk or run the rail trail and venture one and a half-mile to the historic wool-mill site for a family-friendly celebration. Potter Sanctuary Opening: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Come celebrate the opening of White Oak's 24-acre Potter Sanctuary. An event-filled afternoon, rain or shine, including treasure hunt for kids, craft activity, hiking a new trail, camp songs, GPS demo and geocaching, refreshments. 215 Paxton St. (Route 31).
