Man Arrested on Drug Charges in Peekskill

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - A Cortlandt Manor man was arrested last week on drug charges after police said they saw him acting irrationally.

Police arrested Richard Darling, 31, at 12:10 a.m. on Thursday and charged him with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, on the 110 block of Brown Street. According to police, officers determined that he was under the influence of the illegal narcotic PCP after a quantity of the drug was found on him. He was held for arraignment in city court.

Also among Peekskill Police arrests reported this week:

Jennifer Donahue of Peekskill was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, on the 1300 block of Crompond Road by Police Officer Lou Denet Monday at 3:10 a.m. Donahue was charged after being involved in a single car accident on Crompond Road in which the vehicle she was operating rolled over, police said. Donahue, who was not injured, was found to have a blood alcohol concentration of .20 percent, leading to the aggravated DWI charge and an upgrade in charges. She was held for arraignment in city court.
