Holden Chamber Awards Three $2,000 Scholarships

HOLDEN, Mass. – The Holden Area Chamber of Commerce awarded three $2,000 scholarships to recent Wachusett Regional High School graduates Daniel Lonardo of Holden, Jacob Moody of Princeton and Lisa Palombo of Paxton.

Daniel is the son of Frederick and Cheryl Lonardo, and plans to attend Bentley University in the fall where he will major in business. 

Jacob is the son of William and Catherine Moody. He will attend Northeastern University and will major in business administration. 

Lisa is the daughter of Joseph and Patricia Palombo. She plans to attend the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Management where she will major in business management.

Since the program’s inception in 2004, the chamber has awarded $39,000 to graduating seniors who are pursuing degrees in business.  The awards were presented at the Holden Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner held at Holden Hills Country Club.

The Holden Area Chamber of Commerce serves the towns of Holden, Princeton, Paxton, Rutland and the surrounding community, and is an affiliate of the Worcester Regional Chamber.
